## What is VoixCall?

VoixCall is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service built on WebRTC technology. Users open their browser (or Android app), sign up, add credits, and immediately start making international calls to any phone number worldwide. The service is positioned for **real-world calling situations**: travelers reaching their bank's international fraud line when their card is blocked abroad, exporters calling Chinese suppliers, NRIs reaching SBI/ICICI/HDFC NRI lines, expats handling home-country tax offices.

VoixCall is NOT a phone-to-phone app like WhatsApp or Telegram. It calls **real phone numbers** (landlines and mobiles) — the recipient picks up on their normal phone with no app and no internet on their end.

## Who founded VoixCall?

VoixCall is built by an Indian founder. The product is designed with India / NRI / global-South payment realities baked in: UPI and Razorpay billing for INR users (no FX surcharge, no international card decline), Hindi UI support, India-NRI use cases as a first-class persona.

## How it works

1. Visit https://app.voixcall.com (browser) or download the Android app from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hackertron.mobile). iOS coming soon.
2. Create a free account (email or Google Sign-In).
3. Top up with Visa, Mastercard, UPI, or Razorpay. Starter pack is $10 (~₹830) or ₹99 packs available via UPI.
4. Enter any international phone number in the dialer.
5. Click call — WebRTC connects you through the browser/app to the destination phone.
6. Credits deducted per minute based on destination country rate.

Works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile. Same account works across browser + Android (one wallet, all devices).

US bank toll-free 800/888 numbers are domestic-only — they don't route through international gateways. ### How does VoixCall work?
WebRTC technology connects your browser (or Android app) to any phone number worldwide. Sign up, add credits, dial. No app required to start, no SIM, no roaming. The recipient answers on their normal phone — they need nothing.

### Is VoIP legal in India?
Yes. Outbound VoIP calling from India to international numbers (and vice versa) is legal under TRAI regulations. The restriction in Indian law applies to VoIP-to-PSTN calls within India routed through unlicensed gateways. VoixCall is used by NRIs to call Indian institutions from abroad, by Indians calling international landlines, and by exporters calling Chinese suppliers — all fully compliant.

### Why can't I just use WhatsApp?
WhatsApp only calls other WhatsApp accounts. It can't reach landlines, banks, airlines, hotels, hospitals, embassies, or government offices — none of those are on WhatsApp. VoixCall calls real phone numbers, anywhere in the world.

### Do I need to install anything?
Browser version requires nothing — just go to https://app.voixcall.com. Android app available on Google Play if you want native experience and push notifications. iOS coming soon. One account works across all platforms.

### Do credits expire?
No, never.

### What payments are accepted?

### Why don't 1800 numbers work in India from abroad?
Indian 1800/1860 toll-free numbers are domestic-only. Indian banks (SBI, ICICI, HDFC) publish separate +91 22-XXXX international NRI lines for customers calling from outside India. VoixCall lists those: https://voixcall.com/support-numbers.

### How much does it cost to call China?

### Does the recipient know I'm calling via VoIP?
Not unless you tell them. Their phone rings normally. With custom caller ID, they see your verified number. Without it, they see VoixCall's pool number.
