What the job actually needs

📞

A number they will pick up

A +91 caller ID gets ignored in Ohio. A US local number for $2 a month shows up as a local call, and when they ring back it lands in your browser.

🧾

Proof for the client

Clients pay for dials and appointments they can check. Every call is recorded with the number, time, length and cost, and a transcript is one toggle away.

₹

Priced for 30-second calls

Most dials end in a voicemail. Per-minute billing with no seat fee means you pay about $0.03 for a recorded 30-second attempt, not $25 a seat before the first call.

The rules, up front

Outbound calling in the US carries real penalties, and the numbers you call from are shared infrastructure. You agree to each of these when you turn on outbound mode, and the service enforces the ones it can.

  1. 1

You dial by hand, one call at a time. No dialer software of any kind.

  2. 2

Businesses, or people who agreed to be contacted. US lists scrubbed against the National Do Not Call Registry every 31 days.

  3. 3

Calls between 8 am and 9 pm in the prospect's local time. The service refuses calls outside those hours.

  4. 4

You say who you are and who you call for, and you stop when asked.

  5. 5

Calls are recorded. You disclose it where the prospect's law requires.

  6. 6

A rented or verified caller ID only. Never a number that is not yours.

  7. 7

300 dials a day, 5 attempts per number a week, and per-number health checks. Break the rules and outbound mode is switched off.

Common questions

Can I use VoixCall for cold calling US businesses from India? +

Yes, by hand, one call at a time, with outbound mode turned on in Settings. Outbound mode asks you to confirm that you call businesses or people who agreed to be contacted, that you check US lists against the National Do Not Call Registry every 31 days, that you call between 8 am and 9 pm in the prospect's time zone, and that you stop and mark Do Not Call when asked. Auto-dialers, power dialers and parallel dialing are not allowed, and VoixCall will not place calls for you.

Do I get a US phone number? +

Yes. Rent a US local number for $2 a month and set it as your caller ID, so prospects see a US number and can call you back. Callbacks ring in the VoixCall web app. You can also verify a number you already own.

What does a month of calling cost? +

US and Canadian numbers are $0.02 a minute, billed per started minute, and recording is $0.003 a minute. A setter doing 150 dials a day with about 30 seconds billed per dial uses around 75 minutes a day, which is about $2.25 a day or $49.50 a month including recording. There is no subscription and no per-seat fee; credits never expire.

Are calls recorded? My client wants proof. +

Yes. Recording is one toggle on the dialer today and is on by default in outbound mode. Recordings sit in your call history with the number, time, duration and cost, and you can add a transcript with a summary for $0.02 a minute. Several US states require you to tell the person the call is recorded; outbound mode reminds you.

Can I pay in rupees? +

Yes. Pay by UPI or an Indian card through Razorpay in ₹ packs, or in USD by card. Agencies can open a Teams account with one shared balance and a per-call cost log by caller.

Can I call Indian numbers in outbound mode? +

No. Telemarketing to Indian numbers needs a TRAI-registered telemarketer identity, which VoixCall does not provide. Outbound mode covers the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore and the UAE. Ordinary calls to India for your own purposes work as before.

What is coming in outbound mode? +

List import with a next-call button, a disposition after every call (connected, voicemail, callback, appointment set, do not call), an account-level Do Not Call list, and a per-list report with dials, connects, appointments, minutes, cost and recording links that you can send the client as a CSV. Recording on by default and a US caller ID are required. It is being built now; the calling, numbers and recording on this page work today.

Start with a US number and a recorded test call
