Honest Limits
- • Built for calls, not campaigns. No auto-dialer, lead lists, call queues or CRM sync. Outbound sales teams are better served by a contact-center tool.
- • Mobiles can be expensive. In some countries a mobile costs several times a landline. Check the rate the dialer shows before you call.
- • No outbound SMS yet. Numbers receive texts but can't send them.
- • Callbacks and transcripts are in the web app. The iPhone/Android apps make calls and receive texts, but don't yet ring for incoming calls or show transcripts.
- • Recording rules vary. The other party hears a recording notice, but some countries and US states need explicit consent. Check what applies to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to call hotels and offices abroad?
You pay per minute, and the price depends on the number you call, not where you are. Landlines in the UK, France, Italy and Spain cost 3¢–3.5¢ a minute at current rates. Mobiles cost more in some countries, so the dialer shows the exact rate before every call. There is no per-seat subscription.
Why not just use WhatsApp?
Use it when the other side is on WhatsApp. Hotel front desks, reservation lines, couriers, banks and government offices mostly answer a landline or a phone menu, and WhatsApp can't call those. VoixCall calls real phone numbers, so you reach whoever picks up the desk phone.
Can we record calls and keep the booking or case numbers?
Yes. Recording is a toggle on the dialer ($0.003/min), and the other party hears a recording notice. With transcripts turned on in Settings ($0.02/min extra), every recorded call gets a short summary, the booking codes, case numbers, amounts and dates mentioned, a to-do list and a full transcript about a minute after it ends.
How does billing work for a team?
With a Teams account you invite colleagues into one organization that shares a calling balance, and every call is logged with its cost and who made it. Organization credit packs start at $100, and larger packs include bonus credit. Credits never expire.
Can hotels and suppliers call us back?
Yes, if you give them a number to call. Rent a local number in their country (from $2/month) or a US number, set it as your caller ID, and callbacks ring in the VoixCall web app.
Is VoixCall a fit for outbound sales or cold-calling campaigns?
No. There is no auto-dialer, lead list, call queue or CRM sync, and the product is built for calls to businesses and offices you already work with. If you run outbound sales campaigns, a contact-center tool is the right fit.
Does the team need to install anything?
